Founded on the idea that “windows are a form of civilization and culture,” the Window Research Institute has been exploring windows as an academic subject since 2007. PULP was commissioned to redesign the Institute’s website to reflect the growth and expanding scope of its activities.
The new website was designed to be approachable for first-time visitors while also offering depth for returning users. In addition to responsive design, the site supports bilingual content delivery in Japanese and English, including the Windowology project and lifestyle-focused articles related to clothing, food, and living. PULP also collaborated with the Institute to develop the framework for the Culture section, a platform for guest writers to share independent insights and research.
